Philz Coffee CEO Apologizes After Removal of Pride Flags

Coffee chain Philz Coffee recently stirred controversy after a decision to remove Pride flags from their storefronts. CEO Mahesh Sadarangani has since apologized for the move.
“The Pride flag is a symbol of safety and belonging for people who don’t always find that in the world, and that is not something I want to take away from anyone who walks into a Philz,” he shared in a company statement.
Limited Edition Release from Coffee Project NY Funds Mental Health Resources for Women Farmers

Coffee Project New York has announced the release of a limited edition coffee, a washed Colombian Caturra from producer Nidia Ramirez Correcha in Tolima. Sales will help raise funds for SANA Program: a nonprofit expanding access to mental health resources for women coffee farmers.
Luckin Coffee Announces Blue Bottle Acquisition

Centurium Capital, the largest shareholder of Chinese coffee chain Luckin Coffee has acquired Blue Bottle, after Nestlé announced plans to sell it late last year.
