Good for my use cases

So I use this espresso machine in combination with a Varia VS3 grinder with titanium coated burrs instead of the stock aluminum grinder burrs and it's very nice to use. For the price you are likely not going to find another machine with all the features this one has. Sure you can do hardware modifications to a gaggia classic pro but that'd be far more expensive even strictly for the machine. So the first machine I have made an espresso on was a Crossland CC1 version 1.0 that my dad had gotten back in mid 2018. I then got used to making coffee properly over the 2 Lelit machines we had(the Lelit Victoria and the Lelit Elizabeth Espresso Machines). Meaning I had to learn certain very specific information and got used to very different features due to the machines I used while with my dad. Thos machines feature sets is perfect for me. Build quality is what you expect per what you pay for this espresso machine but I did not buy this for the build. I bought it cause it was the easiest for me to transition over to using. I have made over 5000 espresso since 2018. This machine will likely serve me for a couple more. Some people don't enjoy the way the boiler heats up but I don't mind. It's a single thermoblock which is where instead of boiling the water it is passed through a tube that exposes the water to a heating element. This results in much quicker heating times but other issues in quality. It cannot brew and steam simostansely due to it being a thermoblock machine.

Flawless machine so far! The PID temperature control is unheard of in this price range. Along with the adjustable pre infusion. The unboxing and initial presentation was sleek and well designed. I was left speechless with the quality of espresso and steaming capabilities. It has a satisfying steam-punk style exterior, with a luxurious feel; paired with satisfying toggles, levers, and buttons. The water capacity is large and will last at least 10 drinks worth of water. The group head is heated and holds a high quality-hefty portafilter. The tamp is light weight but works great, along with the other accessories. The steam power is the most incredible steam wand. I use professional grade espresso machines everyday as a barista and I have not seen this shear power in any steam wands I have used. It also has to two holes for steam exiting, which made it faster at steaming and easier to create a vortex. The quality of the espresso was amazing and easy to dial in considering all the features. I am highly pleased with the design, the quality for the price, and the expert level features this machine provides.

If I had to make flaws up I would say including a steaming pitcher would make my experience better and provide more necessary accessories. It also takes a while for the steam wand to heat up (like 30-45 seconds) but this works for me as I have time to grab milk and fill a pitcher as well as discard my espresso puck. The machine is also pretty light weight, making it hard to insert the tight portafilter without the machine moving the first few times, but this gets better with time and can be fixed with grip pads.

Overall a great experience and product with expert level features and a more affordable price point. BY FAR the best bang for your buck espresso machine. I will keep this review updated if any problems occur.

I’ve been using the GEMILAI 3006 espresso machine for about several weeks now, and it’s honestly exceeded my expectations. First of all, the build quality is solid – it feels like a professional machine, not some flimsy home appliance. The stainless steel design looks great on my kitchen counter.

In terms of performance, it pulls a beautiful shot of espresso with thick crema every time. The taste is rich and smooth, just like what I’d get from a high-end café. I also love the steam wand – it froths milk quickly and evenly, so I can make lattes and cappuccinos at home whenever I want.

It didn’t take long to get the hang of it, even as someone new to espresso machines. The buttons are straightforward, and it’s easy to clean. I use it every morning now, and it’s become part of my daily routine. It honestly saves me time and money compared to buying coffee outside.

Overall, this machine delivers amazing value for the price. If you’re looking to upgrade your home coffee game, I highly recommend giving the GEMILAI 3006 a try!

Really love the unique shiny look of this machine, great quality and build! Old cafe style look with modern features. Aluminum body which isnt the greatest for heat retention but when powered on for at least 10 mins, heats everything up including the portafilter when attached. Included portafilter is definitley of good quality and feels heavy. I got a bottomless one as well to see how my shots are coming out. Makes great espressos. Temperature is pretty consistent throughout when pulling a shot, although it may be a couple degrees less than what it's set to but can easily compensate by setting a couple degrees higher.
Steam is very strong in this machine! It almost heats the milk a little too fast so be careful with small quantities of milk not to scorch them. Not sure if its just my machine. But it's great at making steamed and froth milk of at least 150ml, I still need to refine my technique. Too bad there isn't a setting to adjust steam temperature, only negative I would say about this espresso machine so far.
Love the programable buttons for single and double shot. I came from a delonghi stilosa and I love the semi automatic features of this machine. No problems so far! I tried the bambino (not plus) before getting this and it couldn't get hot enough when pulling certain shots in an unpressurized basket and especially not hot enough for light roasted beans. Light roasted beans in this machine have been much better by adjusting the temp to about 208F because of the slight offset and grinding finer than dark/medium beans.
Easy to wipe clean with it's smooth metal surface. I would say it's a little quieter than my old stilosa but not as quiet as the bambino, but noise has never been an issue for me for espresso machines. It's definitely bigger than my older stilosa and bambino but still fits on my counter with ample room above it. I just have to pull the machine forward to remove the water reservoir and refill it which is pretty standard for most espresso machines

This is an entry level espresso machine with good price, but it doesn't mean it's easy for beginners. This machine includes non-presurized baskets which are critical for the fineness of the ground coffee. The pressure will not reach 9 bar unless your ground coffees are fine enough. The ground coffee came from my Krups grinder, fine ground coffees from Starbucks and Trader, all of them failed to get you rich crema and good tastes of espresso. I noticed a lot of reviewers on Youtube using high quality grinder such DF 54 or DF 64. They will cost you $200 or more. My conclusion: Unless you would like to spent additional $200 for the grinder, this machine is not for you.
