Just hit 2 years of multi-daily use. I'm talking averaging 4 pulls a day, 7 days a week. I have never so much had had a single bug or quirk on this machine, and I have the older model with 51mm head. Casabrews makes the most solid budget machines on the market. I will always recommend their machines, they have made easily a few thousand double espressos for me by now. Buy LOCAL NOT STORE BOUGHT BEANS, a few quality tools to come with it, like spring tamp, casabrews bottomless portafilter, and a simple wdt tool and watch your espresso come to life like you've never tasted anywhere else.

    I have been using this expresso machine for several weeks and I'm quite happy with it. It is well built and good looking. The manual is outstanding, with nice illustrations and clear and concise instructions. The large reservoir is nice; the dual wall filters work well, and the quality of coffee I got is consistently good. Two minor issues: 1) the power cord is a bit short and would be nicer to add 1-2 feet, and 2) the plastic tamper is a downer as this machine really deserves a stainless steel tamper.

    Seems to work well, kind of glitched on me once but I unplugged it and dumped the puck and started over and haven’t had a problem since. The most egregious offense is the tamper, scoop combo, (takes it down a star and is really cheap looking). The machine is nice looking and makes a good extraction but gets a downgrade for that tamper thing.

    Another piece of junk! All OF THIS HAD TO BE DONE BY EMAILS! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
    CS ISN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE!
    Steamer Wand doesn't froth on this steam wand/Frother.
    The last CasaBrews I got from Amazon
    was a piece of junk in the first place, completely broke in less than a year!
    When I contacted CasaBrews they tried to tell me that Amazon said I had bought it used (I have never bought any used at Amazon ever except 1 children's book) but did buy a couple a Dustbusters that dirty & obviously used… grrr
    However I digress..
    CasaBrews did finally offer a refund for it IF I bought another one of their coffee makers from their shop on Amazon so I did.
    They started bugging me about the receipt for the new one so on the day it arrived. I immediately sent it but later told them I had to return the new one bc it was faulty. Please wait..did they wait? NO!😡
    So now I need to return this one ..but now I lose my refund for the first one! 😡 almost on purpose?🤷‍♀️
    Not sure I trust Amazon now either🤷‍♀️ DONE

    I ordered this compact espresso machine to use in my small RV trailer. After it arrived today, and after thoroughly washing/rinsing the machine, I put it through its paces to make a first double shot latte. The brewed espresso and ability to develop a nice foamy milk (using Silk Organic Soy Milk) were truly very good. At home, I'm using an older (yes, quite old!) Estro Profi espresso machine with a built-in grinder – used as a comparator.

    Following the directions to pre-heat the portafilter, and grinding the coffee with my old Estro Profi grinder, this machine did an admirable job brewing the espresso. The machine was actually surprisingly quiet, and the machine includes suction-cup feet, so there was no movement during the operation of the pump. Others have commented that it is impossible to attach the portafilter without the machine moving – and yes, you do have to hold the machine while you tighten the portafilter – as expected with a tight fit. There were no leaks anywhere, and everything worked great!
