Straightforward No Frills Nice Quality!

This cold brew maker is great: a no-frills functional large mason jar with plastic lid, silicon seal, and double-walled fine-mesh strainer. This is the easiest to use as a simple self-explanatory product. At 64 ounces this can get heavy for those with wrist pain, but that’s the only downside. The taste is great as there is little contact with plastic. The spout in the lid seals quite tightly though there is no silicon making it air-tight. You likely need a bottle brush to thoroughly clean the strainer. I got this device for another half gallon mason jar and to cold infuse herbal teas, especially mints and hibiscus. An overnight infusion of herbs can be delicious on a hot day. Of course, this strainer leaves plenty of room to brew a cold-brew concentrate, though maybe not as concentrated as the toddy systems. I also love these for fruit-infused waters, which can be so tasty! A good choice.
