This is a nice coffee grinder that I purchased specifically for my espresso machine. However-the portafilter holder that comes with it is far too large to hold a 51mm portafilter even though that is what it advertises as the size. I am so disappointed because I prefer to grind directly into my portafilter. The grind adjustments are precise and the unit produces flavorful grinds. Big fail on the portafilter holder however.

I'm still figuring out exactly how to use this, but I'm excited about it. I have been using a smaller electric bean grinder that requires me to fill the filters by hand. I am looking forward to having the portafilter "automatically" fill with freshly ground beans. Thus far, and it is brand new, it seems to be of good quality. I will update this review after using it for a while. It looks very clean, and I like that it isn't made of chrome or stainless steel, which would require constant wipe-downs to remove prints and smudges.

There is a small print entry away from the specification saying that a USA import may have a different specification but I expected that if a USA import was supplied it would be a dual voltage version complete with a USA to UK adaptor, I thought this was a requirement for selling in the UK. What arrived only had a USA plug and stated on it that 120V 60Hz is required. I had bought this for and had it delivered directly to my parents in their 90's fortunately I spoke to them before they got the adaptor they planned and tried to run it of the UK mains 240V 50Hz I shudder to think of what may have been the result. We now have to get this to a UPS pickup point to return it so I suspect I will be going from Gloucestershire to Leicestershire to do this. I expect far better from Amazon UK.
