    Good grinder for the price

    We needed to replace the 20+ year old Braun coffee grinder and looked at numerous options. We didn't want a burr grinder or a grinder that ground large amounts of coffee. This one seemed to be a good option, decent reviews, reasonable price and cord management options. So far it does the job. It grinds the coffee well and is much quieter than our Braun was. My only issue with it is, and it is a minor issue, the design of the lid. Our previous grinder was designed so that the lid went inside of the body of the grinder so any bits of coffee fell back into the grinding cup. This one goes to the outside, so any coffee that is clinging to the inside of lid falls on the outside of the grinder making a bit of mess.

    I was slightly skeptical when this thing arrived- it's not very big. We're pot-a-day coffee drinkers and had accidentally ordered whole-bean coffee. Rather than return it, I ordered this inexpensive little grinder. I've been quite pleasantly surprised- it's not overly noisy at all, it holds the 3 scoops of beans to make the coffee for a pot easily, and my ground coffee is ready in around 15-20 seconds of grinding. It's a very simple extra step in making our morning coffee and the flavor improvement of fresh-ground is well worth it. Highly recommend this, it's my new favorite small appliance.
