Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Gevi has a good reputation and Iโve had a good experience with their customer service! People are willing to work with you if you have issues with their products. Secondly, this is a double boiler machine with both NTS and PID controls for temperature consistency. That is huge and generally is found in more expensive machines. The Breville double boiler costs around $1500.00 and doesnโt include a bean grinder! This includes the bean grinder, works well and is an incredible โbang for the buck!โ

The grinder is great, hopper holds a good amount of beans, grinds consistent, even has a light that comes on during the grind so you can see the amount being dispensed.
Pressure is good too! I will say thisโฆ I took about an hour to dial in the right grind and tamp to get the pressure where I need it. While thereโs a learning curve, itโs very worth it. The espresso I can make vs my last machine is night and day different.
Steaming is great too, powerful and can steam / extract at the same time.
The only reason I say 9/10 is because you canโt control the temperature nor see it (no temp gauge). This is not a deal breaker for me at least, Iโd rather have the dual boiler.
Itโs very heavy too, while itโs not โsolidโ steel housing, itโs heavy enough to hold it down when removing the portafilter.
