Justin Boudeman, the U.S.-born founder of top-end Panamanian Gesha espresso manufacturing corporate Longboard Specialty Coffee, died Aug. 30 on the hour of 52.
Referred to as a loving folk guy, devoted naturalist and visionary manufacturer, the Michigan local based Longboard Area of expertise Espresso then settling within the Boquete area in 2000 following a number of years spent browsing alongside the coasts.
Boudeman’s legacy in espresso used to be lately celebrated and cemented with the inaugural “Into the Mist” personal public sale, which integrated 12 microlots from Longboard’s Misty Mountain farm.

Montenegro and alternative Boudeman folk individuals and workforce are keeping up the industry, furthering Boudeman’s loyalty to natural and biodynamic practices. “What began with Justin continues with his family, who have been part of Longboard from the start and will carry forward his vision,” the corporate mentioned in a detached announcement.
Since Boudeman’s passing, various roasters from everywhere the arena have paid nation tribute to his paintings in espresso, which has integrated an intense pursuit of constituent within the cup with out the importance of pesticides, herbicides or fungicides.
