I wanted this to make cold brew while I'm staying at my daughters' home instead of bringing my Mason jars, etc. This is a very nice kit for cold brew, with a 24 ounce, tall, wide-mouth Mason jar, pouring lid and stainless steel micro-perforated insert for the coffee, which all came well-packaged. I added a different top from the same company that has a pitcher-type handle to make it easier to keep hold of and pour with my hands. If you really like well-filtered coffee, then you might want to use a filter bag, but only if you are using a very fine grind of coffee – I often have only fine ground coffee on hand, so I do use a filter then, although the filter in this did a great job, all in all, when I tried it the first time on it's own with the fine ground coffee that was available. But even better is the company themselves. They reached out to ask me if I had any questions, and when I mentioned that the magnet that has the ratios for cold brew, which comes with the kit, had been folded in half and I couldn't get it flat, they verified my order and said that they would send me a new one. I thought that was very nice of them. I was expecting a small envelope with the magnet, but they actually sent me another whole Cold Brew Kit! The pitcher lids come in a box of two, so now I can make a regular and a decaf cold brew at the same time, or give somebody a very nice gift. Their customer service is above and beyond and I am going to buy other things from them to use with my Mason jars and to give as gifts to my friends who use Mason jars, too.

I am super impressed with this cold brew kit. I have used it both for tea and coffee and it is a quality item. Have shaken plenty and it doesn’t leak. Also love how it has the measurements on the jar for liquid and on the strainer for the tea or coffee. Makes it so easy. I looked at many before buying this one and read a lot of reviews. Definitely glad I decided on this one.!

A handy product! The few things I don’t like are that coffee grounds seep through I have to strain it after it brews. Otherwise it saves $ not stopping for ice coffee all the time!

On paper, or rather in the advertisement on the Amazon website, this product seems ideal. The card against the container in the advertisement states ' Complete instructions at masontops.com/brew', and as the instructions accompanying the item itself are very brief I went to the website but there are no such instructions. I sent Masontops an email mentioning this and requesting the instructions but my email has been ignored. As a result I intend to return the item as without the 'complete instructions' it is unusable. BEWARE OF THIS PRODUCT AND OF MASONTOPS!

I love this cold brewer and it makes awesome cold brew coffee!
While cleaning the brew chamber, I noticed it was separating. So I emailed the company & sent them photos. They responded quickly and sent a replacement right away. (I only expected a replacement brew chamber… they sent a complete kit! On a long weekend too!) I am so greatful!
If you enjoy cold brew coffee…. this is the kit for you! Super easy to use & cleaning it is a breeze! Makes excellent coffee every time. The hardest part is waiting for the coffee to brew.
This company is A1 and stands by their products! I can't thank them enough for going out of their way on a long weekend to send me a replacement. ❤

I bought this because of Tiktok, they made it seem really simple and it looks well made and it is. I liked that it has measurements on the side and the magnet that comes with it.
The stainless steel mesh filter always lets grinds through no matter how coarse I make the grinds. I had to get additional disposable mesh brewing bags to put the grinds in and I put that in the stainless steel mesh filter.
I still really like this cold brew maker, it's very easy to clean and use besides that. It makes enough for 2 cups of cold brew for me ( I dilute a lot with milk so keep that in mind) I always found cold brew i made previously to go bad quick so this keeps it fresh.
I do prefer brewing it on the counter at room temp for 18-20 hours even though everyone who uses this I see brews in the fridge.

Great design and quality. The glass is thick enough to withstand breakage, and the lid fits perfectly, with no leaks. The wide mouth allows for cleaning it in the dishwasher. I'm using it as a water bottle most of the time, and will get the lid with a handle that they are selling with my next order.
The only reason for not being fully satisfied is the size, Mason should sell a 34oz water bottle, as no company sells a sturdy glass one; everything that's available on Amazon or in brick-and-mortar stores is made of borosilicate glass that shatters easily. Mason's water bottle is even smaller – 16 oz.
