I am a fairly big guy, and I prefer Ice Coffee for body temp well into the Fall and (pretty much) on all but the coldest days….. Truthfully, up to this point, my solution has been to make very strong coffee and pour it over ice. It works, but it the flavor is average at best… Really like this solution as I am able to cold brew a fresh batch as needed and store it in the fridge.. For my morning commute, I use about 1/2 of the amount stored in the container, so I make a new batch every other day. I make it right when I get home from work. Simply add coffee into the reusable grounds container, add water, and put it in the fridge. I have found that I like the coffee on the stronger side of their recommendation, and I let it brew all the way up until I go to bed… Then pull the grounds out and let it chill all night.
The container can sit either way in the fridge, but I let it brew upright to get as much water on the grounds as possible…. Personal preference..
Either way, this is a lot better coffee than what I was doing. Really glad I got it. Like I said in the title, simple, effective solution to my needs.
