NEOUZA 51mm Bottomless Portafilter Compatible with De’Longhi La Specialista Coffee Espresso Machine EC9335 9155 9355 9665

I ordered this portafilter so I could use an unpressurized basket with a Delonghi Dedica Arte and it fits perfectly. I like the additional control it gives me and it's also much easier to clean than the pressurized basket that comes with the machine as it creates a usual espresso puck that drops right out. The portafilter seems solid and the wooden handle has a nice feel.

Wanted a bottomless portafilter with out any plastic. This one fits perfectly for Delonghi EC9355M. You could use the same original filter pan/bed with this portafilter with slight displacement and you feel a click while mounting the portafilter.
I started using the filter pans that came with this and I did not miss a beat. The coffee pours nicely with no messiness.
Overall, good quality and performance.

Doesn't fit my EC9155. I will need to file down the tabs a little. Otherwise a nice product at a good price.

Update: ten minutes with a file and a pair of calipers to check the tab thicknesses, and it's a good fit. Probably just casting variation.

While the unit fits into my delongi machine, the slide angle on the ears of portafilter allows it to turn backwards under pressure while coffe is being made and fall out. This is very unsafe operation that caused several large spills. There is no secure way to keep it in place while making coffee.

Works for my DeLonghi La Specialista Arte EC9155MB. Shots pull smoothly. Good extraction.

Expensive for what the equipment quality is. The portafilter has nice wood handle and cleaning cloth is decent quality. Unfortunately, the crema does not come out well as the holes in baskets are fairly large for finely ground coffee and more coarse grind flows quickly. It's good to get 3 different sized baskets but they all work the same. This design should be improved. It's hard to find parts for my Delonghi Arte but this works (just not great for thick crema).

Literally just received it 15 minutes ago and had to try it out right away. Night and day compared to what shipped with my De'Longhi. The ones that ship with the machine have an artificial blocking ring around the baskets that give the illusion that you can tamp further than that line but it's just a gimmick. I've been struggling to get a good cup of anything out of the La Specialista Opera since I received it and then I found the issue I mentioned above. This setup from NEOUZA worked magic and now I can actually start enjoying my espresso maker.

I got this to step up my espresso game and see how my tamping and extraction was going. Honestly I was skeptical with the 1 month-ish shipping but it was worth the wait….it is very nice, durable, and does what I wanted and a bit more……I had to get on and give this a review…..if the shipping went PRIME on this it would be perfect!
