I’ve been using the POWCAN 40 oz tumbler for 8 months now, and I’m really impressed. The insulation is excellent—it keeps my water ice cold literally all day, even in the car during hot afternoons. The handle makes it super easy to carry around, and it still fits perfectly in my car’s cup holder, which is a big plus.

The straw and lid are well-designed—no leaks, and it’s easy to clean. I also like that the powder-coated finish is durable and doesn’t show fingerprints. At 40 oz, it holds plenty of water, so I don’t have to keep refilling it constantly.

Overall, this tumbler is a fantastic value compared to some of the more expensive brands. If you’re looking for a large, sturdy, and stylish tumbler to keep drinks hot or cold, this one’s a winner! Perfect for pickleball.

The handle broke on my Ozark Trails 40oz tumbler, so I set out to find something with a more durable handle. This one caught my attention because of the top handle band that goes all the way around the tumbler.

The build quality is top notch with stainless hardware in the handle bottom.

The coating seems very durable and has a just enough dripping texture; not too much that could make your fingers tingle.

The handle is by far the most durable and comfortable handle on a tumbler I have ever gripped. The top goes all the way around the tumbler as a one piece handle. The bottom in retained with a stainless bracket that is tack welded to the cup with a stainless hex socket screw with a corrosion resistant zinc coating. The handle also has a precision molded in contoured rubber grip. It really is comfortable for large or small hands. I wear XL gloves and my wife wears XS and we both love the handle grip.

The lid is so convenient and adaptable to your preference. Without a straw the attached flip cap has a molded in silicon plug. It is fully spill proof when closed. With a straw in the built in center straw port it is mostly spill proof aside from what would obviously come out of the straw. Dual thread makes it right hand or left hand handle grip.

The straw has is stainless steel with a silicon tip. The inside is 1/4" diameter making it pretty standard for a drinking straw. I prefer a larger straw around 3/8-1/2in because I don't like my cheeks to suck in when I drink, so I kept the straw from the Ozark Trails cup, which is not as long, but it is what I prefer.

There isn't a molded in bottom grip, which could improve it, but I don't know how that would affect the cost. I got mine for about $8 more than the Ozark Trails, but I feel like this will last longer than the 9 months I got out of the OT.

Temperature retention is decent. Not impressed or disappointed. In an 8hr work day in unconditioned space it has ice all day. Only if it is +95°F do I need to refill ice once in the day. Probably wouldn't have too but I like my stuff as cold as I can get it and the ice is readily available. I really don't use it for hot beverages.

I recommend this tumbler for anyone looking for a longer lasting high quality tumbler without the high price.

Stellar product. Very well built. I thought the straw hole would be silly and I wouldn't use it, as I preferred to drink from magnetic slide caps of the most well known vacuum-steel mugs. But I'll be darned, this self-sealing straw hole is awesome. The whole mug is awesome. Very pleased with purchase. Will absolutely buy again instead of more expensive name brand. Very stable & easy to hold. Fits in car cup perfectly. Color is awesome. Retains heat and cold phenomenally.

These tumblers are awesome! They're made extremely well and keep drinks hot and cold. Plus, the lid is secured properly so it doesn't leak for hot drinks and for cold drinks using the straw, liquid can only exit through the staw. I refuse to buy mugs and tumblers that come with those clear plastic lids that press on with those black gaskets. They crack and break so easily. Whoever invented this lid was a smart cookie.

I got the Halloween POWCAN mug for my son who works swing shifts, is up late at night and sleeps late in the morning. I saw that this was a glow in the dark mug and was hoping this would be easier to find at night, as he has tipped his previous mug over several times in the past reaching for it in the dark. I also got the pumpkin one for me for the same reason. My pumpkin was great as it really glowed all night if exposed to bright lights for only 10-15 minutes or so. This one only had small outlines of the skulls glowing, so they didn't stand out very much at all. The picture is just as it looks on the site, dark with lots of skulls. He loved it! The mug itself is great! If you do tip them over without a straw in them, they don't leak at all. However, if there is a straw in it, it will leak if the mug is full. If it's only half full or less, it won't. The screw on lid keeps it from flying off if tipped over, as both mine and his have done several times in the past. There's very little that fully wakes you up faster in the night than having ice cold drinks and ice burst out all over your floor, making you have to jump up to soak the mess up, collect the ice and dry the floor.

The lid can be hard to screw on if the straw is in due to the flap that seals the straw hole up on the inside. If you take the straw out before you screw the lid on, it is very easy. Just put the straw in after putting the lid on. Also, if you totally fill the cup with ice and put a drink in before you put the lid on, the ice can fuse together for a bit, making it hard to put the straw in. It's easier if you fill it with ice, then add the drink and stir the ice up for a bit with the straw to separate the ice. Then take the straw out, put the lid on, and then put the straw back in. This works great. It sounds complicated, but it only takes a minute more when you have done it once or twice. It really does keep your drinks cold for over 24 hours, especially if you start with a cold liquid. I fill mine up with ice before I go to bed and don't add more ice until the next night. I just add more cold pop as needed.
