Color: Black+clearVerified PurchaseGreat for iced tea and coffee, finally found one that worked.. All the others either leaked or the mesh was so tight no water got through, which is just silly. This one was great… Only down side you have to remove the whole to to take out the strainer, though you can pour with out removing it.

I waited a while from when I got this cold brew coffee pot to review it, or even try it out. I'm not sure why I waited so long, but oh em gee…
If you have a store nearby that sells Barnie's coffees, find Santa's Mocha Christmas, or Santa's White Christmas, because both of these flavors make an incredible cold brew. I started with 100 g (weighed on a scale) of Santa's Mocha Christmas and 1500 ml of water. This was supposedly a double batch, and it made an almost full pot of coffee. I let it steep overnight, just about eighteen hours, before I removed the filter cylinder and poured my first cup.
Before I get into the actual coffee, I'm going to talk about the pot itself. The filter cylinder, though it seems flimsy at first, is actually quite sturdy, but it takes a little muscle to remove it from the lid the first time. Just grab it by the plastic and turn counter-clockwise (lefty loosey!) It has an easy to remove stopper and the bottom plug comes off for easy cleaning. A scrubby sponge (sponge side out) is perfect for cleaning this, and it rinsed clean with little effort. The pot still has coffee in it, but I'm sure it will wash out well and be ready for my next experiment, coming VERY soon!
Okay, so this pot steeped a batch of cold brew that blew my mind. It's that good. Who needs a barista when you can make your own cold brew at home, and without even needing a "cold brew" blend?! This is perfect for any time, but especially in the Florida heat this time of year (summer). No matter what flavor coffee you use, here's a tip for sweetening it, if you don't want to use a liquid sweetener. Because sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold liquid—for the record, confectioner's sugar doesn't either, as it's hydrophobic—I made a teeny batch of simple syrup using the amount of sugar I wanted (in a 30oz container, it was 2 teaspoons) and a bit of hot water. Coffee perfection!
If you're considering this cold brew pot, take the leap like I did. You will never be sorry you did. This will be a part of my coffee obsession for a long time to come.

The quality of the I ordered this cold brew coffee maker as a replacement for my large glass one that was broken recently, and I am so happy to say this one is better! The BPA free plastic container is so much lighter in weight and easier to handle as it is a better design and balanced in your hand while pouring. The filter screen is extremely efficient at preventing any grounds seeping into your coffee. As a matter of fact, I do not use special cold brew coffee for this brewer. Instead, I use my regular everyday drip maker ground coffee for a perfect cup of cold brew every time. This coffee maker is super easy to clean and to use. Best of all, is that is saves a ton of money on my sweet coffee treats each week. For under $35, this is a magical purchase for yourself or any coffee lover you know.

let’s just say i spend way too much money at dunkin donuts on cold brew coffee so i finally decided to try and make my own cold brew at home. i am actually very impressed with this thing. it is very simple, easy to use, and sturdy. i never made cold brew coffee before i bought this and i kept reading that you have to get coarse ground coffee to make your own cold brew at home so that the grains won’t seep through.. but with this cold brew coffee maker, it works with fine grounds! i like that because coarse grounds are a little pricier and harder to find. it takes about a day to fully brew but it holds a decent amount so you will have coffee for a few days with this! it’s very convenient and easy to use. just put coffee grounds into the center piece, fill it up with water.. put it in the fridge.. and wait lol. i usually brew a pitcher at night and i wait a whole day for maximum efficiency and one of these pitchers will last me the whole week. i always have cold brew coffee in my fridge now ever since i got this thing. the material is plastic but its very durable. the picture of the lighter coffee is only after a few hours in the fridge and the darker photo is after leaving it in the fridge overnight. just get it.. it’s worth it.

I really enjoy taking a big cup of cold brew into work every morning, sweetened with a little bit of syrup and with a pinch of cinnamon. I only have one issue with it – it is too big for my fridge. As a result I have to lie it flat. Which is usually fine and until someone accidentally knocks the cap of the lid open and it leaks everywhere. But that is due to my fridge so I can't really complain. Overall I think this is a fabulous cold brew coffee jug.

Such a good buy!! It's easy to use and clean. I would say that once it's been steeped full you remove the grounds as they start to get out. I am so obsessed with it, and i started making iced tea as well!

Does the job but I just wished the quality was better. Feels like a product that was 12$ but inflation took over this product.
