    My favorite way to make tea is to throw loose leaves in this and set it on the porch. I have five of these now, for different flavored teas. I use it for iced coffee too, and for fruit infused beverages. It's a good, thick, sturdy half gallon mason jar, easy to clean, easy to use, easy to store in the fridge, space saver, and it cuts down on my plastic use because there's just the small amount of plastic in the lid that isn't really touching the fluid for longer than to pour it. I actually got one of these for my boss because he's trying to use fewer disposable containers. He loves it too!

    This brewer is awesome! No more wasting my money at coffee shops for poor tasting and poor quality coffee! Make sure you grind your own coffee beans on coarse mode otherwise if the coffee grounds are too powdery then the coffee grounds will seep through the filter and taint the brew. I like using organic coffee grounds for the best tasting cold brew! Allow to brew at least 12 hours. I’ve had no leakage and the design is great. It fits perfectly in my fridge and doesn’t take up a lot of room. It’s pretty easy to clean with the brush that came with it. Just soak it first so that the grounds will come out easily. Very happy with this purchase. So easy to use and make cold brew. Wish I would’ve bought it sooner!

    Love this! I got it about 3 months ago and I use it ALL the time.
    It makes great cold brew. I love experimenting with different coffee flavors and roasts.
    Don’t forget to rinse the lid after you take the grounds out. It took me a couple batches to figure out where the grounds were coming from (haha!).

    Easiest way is to either fill halfway with water then add the coffee filter. Or I’ve done a long, slow trickle from the tap — it takes about 20 minutes this way to fill up. Both seem to yield the same quality. I allow it to brew for 24-hours before removing the grounds, sometimes 48-hours. I pour about 8 oz into a cup and fill the rest of the 20 oz cup with water and a splash of my favorite creamer and sugar. That said, I get about 7-10 days per batch. The coffee filter itself holds about 2-3 cups, depending how densely you pack it in.

    Great value for the money. It paid itself off in the first week alone. A breeze to clean: Easy to clean the filter with a couple taps into the trash, a rinse in the sink. And the silicone gasket slides off to clean underneath.

    I only took 1 star off because the handle feels a bit flexible when it’s full. So I tend to just hold onto the jar itself when transporting in/out of the fridge or when pouring. Otherwise the pour spout works great and I love the snug click when opening/closing the pour spout.

    When looking into a cold brew product I was amazed at some very involved and complex products out there. This isn’t one of them. It’s simple. It’s durable. It works just fine. It’s a 2 quart mason jar with a strainer and lid. That’s it and that’s all you need. Even came with a cleaning brush that is flimsy but it works. I’ve only had it a few months but I see no flaws that would result in causing long term problems. The lid works well as a pour spout or simply a lid. I chose the 2 quart size since I drink a lot of coffee, if you don’t drink that much volume, maybe a 1 quart size would be better. I now much prefer cold brew and only drink regular hot coffee when it’s super cold outside. One tip, your grounds must be coarse.

    Love the ease of use for this product, just put tea filter into carafe filled with water, add tea, set and let brew. The only thing to know is that you must remove the tea filter in order to pour out or the tea leaves will come out the pour spout. Handle is a nice feature. It's larger than I expected which was a nice surprise. Love that it came with the cleaning brush, however, the filter is large enough that it's fairly easy to clean. Prefer to use glass over plastic as it gives better taste I believe.
